Who can open a business account on GalaxyOne?

Business accounts for GalaxyOne are available to U.S. legal entities including LLCs, corporations, sole proprietorships and trusts. The person opening the account must be authorized to act on behalf of the company, typically a managing control person or beneficial owner of the entity. All beneficial owners and control persons must be U.S. persons and at least 18 years of age.

Do I need to be a U.S.-registered entity?

Yes. Business accounts on GalaxyOne will only be available to legal entities formed and operating in the United States with all beneficial owners being U.S. persons.

What does it mean to be a U.S. accredited investor as a business?

U.S. accredited investor status is required to invest in Galaxy Premium Yield on GalaxyOne.

Under SEC regulations, a business qualifies as an accredited investor if it meets one of the following criteria:

  • A corporation, LLC, partnership, trust, or 501(c)(3) organization with total assets exceeding $5 million, not formed specifically to acquire the investment

  • An entity in which all equity owners are individually accredited investors

If your entity does not meet these criteria, you can still open a business account on GalaxyOne and access our commercial banking, brokerage and crypto products.

Can I have both a personal and a business account with GalaxyOne?

Yes. You can maintain separate personal and business accounts with different login credentials. Each account operates independently with its own balances, transaction history, and tax reporting.

Can I stake my crypto on GalaxyOne via my business account?

Yes. Eligible businesses can stake their solana (SOL) and earn up to an estimated 6.50% in variable staking rewards. GalaxyOne Staking is available in more than 40 states and jurisdictions. Business owners and their corresponding entities must both reside in a state where GalaxyOne Staking is available.

Now through December 31, 2026, staking clients can enjoy 0% platform commission charged by GalaxyOne on staking rewards. Other fees may apply, review full terms and conditions.

How are businesses with multiple owners handled, and will partners need to verify their identity?

During onboarding, you'll provide information about all beneficial owners who hold 10% or more ownership in the entity, as well as at least one individual with significant control (such as an executive or managing member). Each of these individuals will receive an email prompting them to complete identity verification. This is a regulatory requirement to confirm the identities of those who own or control the business.

Required documents vary by entity type but generally include:
